VibeCheck is run by Olee AI LLC. It helps YouTube creators moderate the comments on their channel. This page says what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to make us delete it.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address and a scrambled (hashed) copy of your password.
- From YouTube, once you connect a channel: the channel's name and picture, and the comments and replies posted on its videos, with each author's display name, picture and channel ID.
- Our decisions: which comments were held, removed or left up, by whom, and why.
- Billing: Stripe handles your card. We only keep your Stripe customer ID and plan.
YouTube API Services
VibeCheck uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
We ask for one permission, to manage your YouTube comments, because it is the only one YouTube offers for holding and removing them. We use it only to read comments on your videos and to change their moderation status when your rules or you say so. We never upload, edit or delete videos, change channel settings or post as you.
How we use it
- To check new comments against your rules, using an AI model (Google Gemini) and your own word lists.
- To show you a review queue and a log of every decision.
- To email you about your account. We do not send marketing email without asking.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your comments to train AI models.
How long we keep it
- Comment text is deleted from our records 30 days after we fetch it. The decision itself (when, what, why) stays in your log.
- Scan archives and log exports in our storage are deleted after 30 days.
- Disconnecting a channel deletes all its comments, decisions and scans straight away.
- Deleting your account deletes everything we hold about you.
Taking access away
Disconnect from Settings in VibeCheck, or remove VibeCheck at Google security settings. If you revoke access through Google, we delete the channel's data within 30 days at the latest; from VibeCheck it happens at once.
Where it is stored
Account and moderation data is stored with Supabase. Scan archives are stored in Cloudflare R2. Email is sent through Zoho ZeptoMail. Payments go through Stripe. Each of them processes data only on our behalf.
